Haven't exactly been writing in this space for a long long time and I don't like it one bit. Just that, I've been up to my neck about so many things lately and I've been absent from the cyber world for nearly a month. Alright, exclude fb and email, which I check very often to keep in touch. :D
Anw, of course, many of you know that I've been really busy due to production matters, all those scripting and then after that is rehearsals everyday! And then there's just a long list to settle nearly everyday. And they always come so untimely to coincide with massive school stuff, like school work, school NE videos and class decoration.
It's only 1 week before Qi Hang. <从心启航>, a production that has stopped for 2 years is going to make a comeback. This marks the beginning of Chinese Drama Society. Looking back, looking at my NYAA reflections, being a director has probably made me a stronger person. Being the one to be commanding 7 actresses, being the one to take 7 actresses under my care and not having directing experience at all, is just a very very very steep challenge. But I'm thankful I got so far. And I've really learnt that support among ourselves is just very very important. Producing a production requires lots of energy, skill, leadership and definitely teamwork.
And I certainly would not be able to come so far without the support of those around me. Simple things like going out together to watch Percy Jackson (Felly, Sue(yi), Yiyin, Sherbelle and Clara Lee) really helped me pull through by relaxing. Sometimes you need a good rest to go a further distance right? And of course, trekking through Orchard Road after CCA, lugging our bags around with Tricia, Hsiao Wei, Janice was simply therapeutic! I remember being able to complete some CCA cues and instructions in about 2 hours when I expected 3, after coming home.
But anw, I still believe that crying isn't a sign of weakness and thru the crying espisodes of many lately, I gather that we're really highly stressed out! :0 And of course, cried because of the certain things that touch our hearts. Yes, I'll miss Mrs Goh! Cause she has always been an inspiration to me.
Yup, and I'll just like to say, Term One is done! Green Badge, all the way, we've got a priceless mission to accomplish! 4 Diligence, press on, no matter how sometimes we feel its not paying off, or we get slightly misunderstood, press on.
And would love to end off with quotes,
"Your homework is to take 2 days off during the hols, cause WHY do you have eyes of the panda, the eyes of your seniors in like probably term 3 or something!" and "Yes, take 2 days off, relax, and come back with your brains!"
-A very cute, exasperated Ms Law.
Yes, Bummer, I know I flunked the Social Studies Common Test One. :(
Mrs Hoo; "What is wine made of?"
4 Diligence; "Grapes"
Mrs Hoo; "Red Wine?"
4 Diligence; "Yah Red Grapes."
Mrs Hoo; "White Wine leh?"
4 Diligence (as a matter of fact); "White Grapes"
Mrs Hoo;"AH! I knew you all will say white grapes, grapes where got white?"
Mrs Hoo *pauses for response (which everyone gave a blank - panda - eyed stare)
Mrs Hoo; "SKINLESS GRAPES are WHITE!"
